Rachel Niemi, PsyD. HSPP
Dr. Niemi is new to PCFCC staff as of January 2014. She is currently functioning as Executive Director for two partnering agencies, PCFCC and Dayspring Women's Center.
Dr. Niemi received her Psy.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2012. She completed her doctoral internship with the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indy after completing two years of training as an practicum student with PCFCC.
Dr. Niemi specializes in working with homeless and low income populations. She is currently working to revise PCFCC's programming to provide new and effective therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families who could not otherwise afford treatment. She is also looking to create one of the best training facilities for Master and Doctoral Level students looking to live/ work in the region.
Harold Bernt, LCSW
With over 40 years experience in the fields of mental health, substance abuse and social services, Mr. Bernt brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to his clinical training and supervision of graduate level counselors.
He earned his Master's degree at the University of Chicago and has had post graduate training in family counseling, substance abuse treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy. His personal goal is to use his skills to fulfill the center's mission of providing quality counseling services to individuals and families and training the next generation of counselors and therapists.
Larry Brewerton, Ph.D, HSPP
Dr. Brewerton has been affiliated with PCFCC since 2007. He works to supervise our doctoral level students on a weekly basis. In addition to his work with PCFCC, Dr. Brewerton has his own clinical practice and is a professor at Indiana University Northwest.
